HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!

Hello Fans!
Smooth, macho "Diddy Paul", that's the sexy man on the left, turned the BIG 30 on Sunday - Hoo hah! You know what they say: "Dirty Thirty"!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday, Dear Paulie, Happy Birthday to you!
Hip-pip - Hooray! Hip-pip - Hooray! Another-pip - Hooray!

Well Dolls, we had the privilege of speaking with Rik of the Super Heroes, after their Big Time Birthday celebration in Vancouver. Unfortunately, Rik says that they don't remember much of the events that took place. He believes that they were taken advantage of by the depraved women in the Vancouver nightclubs. Apparently, they are quite fortunate to have escaped with their lives.

According to the blokes, when they rolled down Georgia Street on their saucy BMW Adventures, the girls were swooning on the sidewalks and tossing their Victoria's Secret undies into the road, which of course, brought the mid-morning traffic to a screaming halt.

The RCMP and the Vancouver Municipal police were called out to calm the crowds, and to their astonishment, found themselves blinded by the avalanche of lacy lingerie.
(A journalist snapped a couple of photographs of the smiling officers, which will be posted shortly on a follow-up article.)

Later that night, when the Super Heroes finally hit downtown Vancouver, the girls were lining up outside the clubs to grab a glance, or a chance at a dance with Paul, Rik or Rob. It was pandemonium!
That is until some of those Vancouver tarts slipped the date-rape drug into their beers...can't think of any other reason why they would forget the events of such an important night. After all, they're really just innocent Blokes, you know. (Nudge- nudge, wink-wink!)

To wrap it up, they made it out of Vancouver alive and well and are looking good in one of the sexiest ski resorts in the world: Wonderful Whistler!

So fans, watch this space for more fascinating news about the Super Heroes on their Super Bikes.

Meet the SuperHeroes and Their Super BMWs

From left to Right: Paul, Rik, Rob.
Well, Darlings - I was fortunate enough to meet these LOVELY Gentlemen just as their arrived in Whistler, (while we Divas were shopping for a cabin during the Winter Olympics in 2010 - but that's another story!)

Paul, Rik and Rob are GORGEOUS Blokes from the UK who are on a trip around the World and the most incredible motorbikes - Fancy that!

Paul's rides a 2002 BMWR1150GS Adventure called "Honey".
Says Paul: " Rob got me biking about 8 years ago, best thing I did. My mother has forgiven him now. When i had a call to ask if i fancied going round the world on a motorbike there was no question, it was a definite YES. I had done a a few trips round Europe on my VFR and Blackbird but never really been any further so what a huge adventure. What a way to travel, so finished my job, rented out the house and here I am."

Rik rides a 2004 BMWR1150GS Adventure called "GiSelle".
After leaving his job as an automotive development engineer and converting two of his farm buildings to holiday units in Wales, the open road called.

Rik says: "GiSelle has proven herself able on both the off-road riding and smoother tarmac sections..... like her owner, she likes to get dirty though...... given half a chance!"

Rob rides a 2004 BMWR1150 Adventure called, "The Bitch 2".
He is attempting this world challenge after spending 8yrs running his business. Rob had his first bike at 7 years of age, after asking his Mum, "Is it possible to ride a motorbike to Sydney?", when he was 10. This world trip was always going to be destiny. After 4 months around Europe with a tent and his GSXR600 in 1998 completing 15000 miles and 14 countries this was the next step, being able to do it with two best mates makes it even more of a life long dream, whatever next.......?

Richard Hammond of Top Gear Suffers Serious Brain Injury in High Speed Crash

We just learned that Richard Hammon, affectionately known as "the Hamster" from Top Gear, was involved in a high-speed car race and had a serious accident. The crew were filming Richard trying to break the British land speed record when the accident occured.
Reports say that he has suffered a severe brain injury and that they are monitoring him closely.
Both Jeremy Clarkson and James May have visited Richard in hospital.

Here is London Reuters's coverage of the story:

Top Gear's Hammond suffers brain injury in crash Thursday September 21, 05:23 PM

LONDON (Reuters) - Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond suffered a significant brain injury in a high-speed crash in a jet-powered car while filming for the programme, a hospital spokesman said on Thursday.

"He has suffered a significant brain injury," the spokesman said.

"It is still giving cause for concern as it is still early after the injury. However, we are

reasonably optimistic that he will make a good recovery."
The 36-year-old presenter was taken by air ambulance to the specialist neurological unit at Leeds General Infirmary after the accident on Wednesday.

Earlier on Thursday the hospital had said Hammond was in a serious but stable condition after some improvement overnight.

The presenter had been filming at a former Royal Air Force base near York, in what media reports said was an attempt to break the British land speed record of 300.3 mph, when the accident happened on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesman for the car's sponsor, Thule, said that although timers were in place to record Hammond's speed, it would not have qualified as an official record attempt.

Health and Safety Executive officials were on site investigating possible causes of the crash.

Co-presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May have both visited their colleague in hospital.

"Obviously at this time both he and his family are the most important concerns we have," they said in a statement. "It must be devastating for his wife Mindy and his two utterly adorable children. Both James and I are looking forward to getting our hamster back."

Hammond is affectionately known as "The Hamster" by his legion of fans and is the butt of good-natured ribbing about his diminutive height by Clarkson and May.

He had to be cut from the wreckage of the vehicle which had veered off the track and rolled over, the BBC quoted one of the rescuers as saying.

"We were down there with Top Gear who were filming him trying to break the British land speed record," Dave Ogden, one of those involved in the rescue, told the BBC.

"On the previous run, the car had just gone over 300 mph but I am not sure if it had broken the record.

"They had just done one more run and were planning to finish when it veered off to the right."

Hammond had been able to talk to but was in distress, he added.

"He was regaining consciousness at that point and said he had some lower back pain. But he was drifting in and out of consciousness a little bit," Ogden said.

The Top Gear show, which tests and reviews cars, enjoys cult status and is broadcast to millions of people worldwide on BBC World.

Quentin Willson, one of the show's former hosts, said of Hammond: "He is a wonderful, unique and distinctive Top Gear presenter.

"He has brought an awful lot to the programme and his indefatigable energy, the fact that he tries absolutely anything once, may have been the reason that he has overstepped the mark a bit."
